You shouldn’t have to! Most computers are already equipped with the software you will need.

To make sure, here is a list of the software you will need:

• an internet browser in a recent version (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer 9 and +, Safari, etc.).
• an office suite with spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, drawing, etc. (Apache OpenOffice, LibreOffice, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• a PDF file reader.

No proprietary software is required. Free and open source software is more than enough!

However, don't forget that you will also need to:

- navigate on the internet freely.

- save files on a storage space (a hard drive for example).
